Microblading is an eyebrow architecture technique. It's all about producing the ideal form for each face a completely customized approach for each customers.
Microblading
The technique is incredibly exact because of the equipment that is used, which is basically like a pen with the nib being a slanted blade with 10-12 tiny needles at the end - needles that do not pierce the skin but only scrape the surface, much like a paper cut.
The needle creates tiny, realistic, and natural hair strokes by implanting featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermal layer of the skin.
How are microblading eyebrows different from having your brows tattooed?
Microblading, unlike tattooing, takes place on the surface of the skin rather than in the deeper layers. This is also not a long-term solution; the color disappears after 18 months.
Because a portable needle blade is utilized, the hair strokes are considerably more natural and finer than any tattoo, and there is no electrical device that pervades deep in this procedure. As a result, rather than the buzz of a tattoo gun piercing the skin so deeply, there is more of a scratching sounds.
Why is a top-up microblading session necessary, and when does it take place?
After 6-8 weeks, the top-up session takes place. This is when I may analyze the first steps and add any more strokes, as well as a darker color if desired.
In the meanwhile, what happens?
You must adhere to the after-care guidelines listed below and refrain from picking or itching. Your brows will begin to heal over, similar to a tattoo, which may irritate you but is completely natural.
How do you choose the right brow shape? Should we bring any photos?
Clients are free to bring in photos of brow styles they prefer or bring in the brow make-up they typically wear on a daily basis, but I'll utilize my years of expertise to choose the color and shape to apply.
USE THE APPROPRIATE COLOR MICROBLADING...
People tend to prefer deeper colors than I recommend, but it's always best to opt for a more natural look you can always apply more at the top-up session if you want a darker color.
To ensure the right color pigment option, I'll look at your hair color, eye color, and skin tone using the Fitzpatrick Chart, which also takes into consideration how your complexion will alter with sun exposure and other factors.
MICROBLADING IN THE RIGHT SHAPE...
Use a Microblading Ruler to measure your brows and determine the right brow shape for you, which is unique to you. it can be freehand the final form based on this.
When it comes to microblading, how long does it last?
Microblading can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type and how long the pigment lasts. People with somewhat oilier skin will need to reapply every 12 months or so, while those with regular skin can go up to 18 months.
If you don't have top-ups every 18 months or so, your brows will ultimately fade away. The pigments used have no scarring or discoloration, so you wouldn't notice if you allowed them to fade.
